Nice hike from Elm up to Fanenstock together with my wife. It was nice and sunny weather. Lunch a bit below the summit due to the many flies at the top. During the hike we spotted a couple of marmots, and an eagle. During the descent we mostly followed the forest road instead of the hiking trail, due to the muddy conditions on the trail after the rain last night. Only very few people in the area.
