hiking classification: 3 stars (nice)
In the morning the snow was better. Despite the high temperatures, the clear night caused that the snow had become quite hard, although not always hard enough not to sink in. After quite a desent, we started to climb to Col de la Forcla, and later the three peaks of Les Rodomonts. For the first peak (Rodomont Derriere) there is a steep traverse that can be problematic if the avalanche conditions are not safe, the same holds for the last climb to the summit (WT3). The rest of the ridge is rather smooth and unproblematic. Unfortunately, the snow got again quite wet. After an extensive rest at Rodomont Devant, enjoying the very good views today, we descended towards Rougemont. Already around 1300-1400 m it was necessary to change from snow shoes to hiking boots.
