Zufahrt zum Ausgangspunkt:	By car to Wägitalersee, parking at Schähhoger just across the dam.

Time for the first hike of the season! Two days ago while biking at Wägitalersee, I saw that there was still a little bit of snow at the top of Gross Aubrig. Today that snow was all gone, and the ascent from Schrä via Bärlaui was possible without having to walk through snow.

For the trail via Eggstofel it is another story. I descended from Gross Aubrig towards P.1514 and then headed towards Nüssen. In the area around Nüssen there is still quite a bit of snow. During the ascent from P.1441 to Nüssen I had to walk at least 200 meters in the snow. Luckily others had walked there before, and I could follow their footsteps.

Difficulties:
Ascent via Schrä - Bärlaui - Gross Aubrig main summit (1695 m): T2 (maybe T3 in a few places)
Descent via Gross Aubrig second summit (1687 m) down towards P.1514: T3
