Almagellerhorn (3327 m)

This nice peak above the village of Saas Almagell can be reached via an alpine trail, starting from the Heitbodme station. The path to the view point is just a regular mountain trail (T2-T3). After this, the alpine trail begins. As there are already plenty of Hikr reports about this part, I will not give to many details. The part consists of a fairly easy via ferrata. Climbing gear is certainly not necessary, but you can use it if you want to. Next, there is rather long and exhausting alpine path to the summit. The last part is a little bit more exposed. 

We were very lucky with the weather conditions, the sky was clear and the view was splendid. The previous days, there had been a little snowfall above 3400 meters, which made the panorama even more spectacular. Enjoy the pictures!
