(This route was originally suggested by SAC-SG)
Starting from Rhodannenberg, follow the road, then climb sharply north after about 1km.
The way is mainly through on the south side through forest and pastures, over a steep path via Lochstafel, and then Schiiterboeden. At that point, one leaves the mountain trail and turns right towards the alpine path. The route climbs through dense vegetation and strewn rocks and boulders towards the main summit structure on the north side. The main difficulty on the route is if it is wet, but otherwise the path presents no problems. There was a bit of residual moisture on the ground, but the mud was not very deep.
There are only two points where some difficulty might be encountered. First, there is a short passage on the north side with mixed earth and rock, which is a bit slippery, but it was easy in those dry conditions. The final path to the summit is exposed, but it is not very narrow or steep.
The overall difficulty felt lower than Nasenlöcher (Säntis), even only considering the grassy section, as the latter was steeper and the rocky/earthy sections were more, longer and steeper. Certainly, though, I would not venture there in very wet conditions.
