  • very smooth itinerary with an easy path through the Vallone di Malatrà, up the pass and down the neighbouring valley (S) back to the Rifugio Bonatti
  • Landscape particularly beautiful with impressive views on Grands Jorasses, Aig. du Triolet and Mt Blanc de Courmayeur; but also contrast with more pre-alpine terrain facing the big mountains is very attractive
  • 2 4x5" pictures at Rif. Bonatti and 2 higher up in the Vallone di Malatrà
