Down to the Reservoir

This is Megan's favorite short walk from Kalterherberg. We leave the homes and the meadows, and descend steeply towards the Perlbach Reservoir. There should be plenty of mushrooms, but the mushroom pickers had gone ahead of us. The evening sun, which we didn't see for two weeks, casts a golden light through the trees.
Our favorite rest bench (and view) across the reservoir is taken - on a Monday afternoon! - so we continue along the lake, the trail fully in the sun. Thankfully, the reservoir is filled again, it looks much better this way. There would have been no way for it being NOT full; but still it is nice to see things going back in order.
Now the ascent up the Schwingsborn - a funny name, something like the swinging well - at a modest gradient back to the Kalterherberg plateau.
