Bockmattli: wieder diese hohe Hochnebel im Wägital!

Very often when I hiked in this region, the weather was worse as expected. In most cases high stratus clouds were the reason. Also today very high stratus clouds limited the visibility at the top of the mountain . From Innerthal the ascent follows broad roads (T1), and from Schwarzenegg onwards small hiking roads are followed. In the "Chälen" (rather steep ascent) above 1500 m rests of recent snow still covered the soil, but it was not a problem to reach the ridge towards Bockmattli (T3). This ridge is in its first part slightly exposed, and afterwards unproblematic, although covered with a snow layer. Unfortunately, visibility was rather limited at the top of the mountain. The whole route is marked white-red-white.

Wetter: Meist Hochnebel mit Obergrenze auf etwa 2000 m. Später mehr Aufhellungen.
