Brünnstein - immer wieder schön

Tour together with I. and our nephew from Omaha, who mastered the tour very well.
The weather was very cloudy and we had no good view (or to be honest none), but on the peak for a few minutes sun shine. But it was a magical moment when we met a herd of cows which appeared suddenly in the fog and seemed also to be very surprised and a bit anxious. Unfortunately we had to modify the route as the planned route was blocked as there is wood work going on.  We took an other route to avoid this region. We walked for hours in clouds hoping that it will change but it did not except a few minutes on the Brünnstein peak. This is really bad because under other circumstances there is a beautiful view - a good reason to come again.   The good thing was that there was not the danger of a thunderstorm. Our break at the Brünnsteinhaus was very relaxing and we enjoyed the good atmosphere and the good meals.  Andrew did not believe til the last seconds before we arrived there that this hut really exist - which is in fact some sort of restaurant.
