Braunwald - Oberstafel - Bärentritt - Euloch - Hinter Ortstock - P.2322 - Tieralpeli - Glattalpsee - Glattalp LSG
The Hinter Ortstock is a popular mountain, often visited from Braunwald. Today I believe I was the only one. I took the path up Bärentritt, which is rated T4 in the SAC "Alpinführer Glarner Alpen". However, it is not very difficult and all the exposed sections are all secured with steel wire rope. I personally would only rate it T3.
I was surprised how much snow there still was from Euloch up to Furggele, considering the very mild winter we had. From Ortsock I went down to the Tieralpeli terrace. Pathless I followed more or less the SW ridge. Between Ortstock and the most Eastern Schijen peak I followed the dell still filled with old snow.
Tieralpeli still has enough snow in order to make the hike past the 3 Schijen peaks easy. I guess if there's no snow it could be kind of tedious with all the rubble there. Past the third Schijen (2610) there is a little gorge, which makes the way down to Glattalpsee quite easy. Even though the SAC Führer mentions "Steinmannli" on this path, I didn't see any.
PS: If you follow the hike along the marked paths it would only be a T3. Even if you decide to descend from Ortstock to Tieralpeli and Glattalpsee you could probably easily find a T3 route. However the path I chose was clearly a T4.
