3 day Greina-Trek (day 2/3)

The sunlights flashed in our faces - time to get up and take-off for the second day. We started the second day like overtired - then we feeled the strong day from yesterday in our bones....
Today we looked forward for the tour from Medel-hut - glacier da Lavaz (sadly there were only a small glacier any more....) - pass F. da Lavaz - Passo della Greina to the Terr-hut SAC.

The first part we hiked down to the point "Stavle", Pt. 2325 and quickly we are standing in front of a boulder-desert. So we jumped from boulder to boulder again (after the experience from yesterday we were expert...) and climbed up the the end of the glacier da Lavaz. We did not need the crampons, the snow on the glacier was handy and so we crossed over the glacier until to the top of the valley. The last part curtly for the passlevel we had to climb very careful - but the ice was very handy. (Over the whole glacier we didn't need the crampons - I think, in the summertime it's possible to cross the glacier without crampons)

On the another side we climbed down to the Greinaebene to the Passo della Greina and stunned over the amazing wonderful valley Plaun la Greina. We enjoyed to hike on a plane level and so we walked straight ahead to the Terri-hut SAC. The Plaun la Greina is a marvellous ground in middle of Graubünden!

We decide us for the path on the left hand side from the Muot la Greina and walked directly to the Terri-hut. Punctually we arrived in the hut and enjoyed the well-deserved beer before dinner. The Terri-hut is a comfortable hut with a very friendly service. The food was once more delicious! Also in the following night we dreamed from the mountain-trip. What is on going tomorrow on the third day?: Terri-hut - Camona - Plaun la Greina - Crap la Crusch - Cap. Motterascio SAC - Lago di Luzzone - Campo Blenio. Sleep well - see you soon:
