Gletschertor und Hängebrücke

The second day after our arrival in Winkelmatten, we hiked from Winkelmatten to Gletschergarten. There's a small playground over there, so it's quite nice for families. After resting  a bit (and having some fun at the playground), we continued our hike to Gletschertor (2100m). The path gets a bit smaller here but isn't dangerous. It turns left into a valley of remarkable beauty, shaped by the Gornergletscher. After reaching the highest point of our hike, we returned to Gletschergarten (this time we took the path along the river, which had a nice view). At Gletschergarten, we went over the 'Hängebrücke'. After reaching Furi, we descended via Zum See and Blatten. 

I've also included some pictures of the Gornerschlucht. They were taken last year. You can actually combine this perfectly with the hike described above.
