I noticed the problem myself when adding a waypoint, but I thought it was due to a bad network connection on my end. Since it took so long, I got impatient and clicked on the "save" or "done" button a few times. Therefore, the same waypoint was added several times. So I then renamed the extra duplicate waypoints to (please delete) and moved them somewhere in the golf of guinea. As the new name of these waypoints suggests, you may delete them :-)

I had the same problem as 360 and now after reading his comment I´ve noticed that I have created a couple of "Schönermannalpe"-way points while - at the time - I had been under the impression that it did not work even once.

Best would now be you delete all of them, and after that I will create it again, but this time only one.

I had the same problem.

The best solution for not wrong or double/triple... waypoints may be the Please Delete procedure.

I will rename every Waypoint not needed in Please Delete. I think it's not necessary to ban them to St. Helena or somewhere. Nobody would ever climb Please Delete ;-)

If you made a wrong wp, or if you found wrong waypoints, the best way is to send me a PM with links to all wrong waypoints, then I can delete or merge them.

For me the most easy format is like that:

Correct: Link to correct waypoint page
Wrong: Link to wrong one / duplicate
Wrong 2: Link to other dup if any
Wrong 3: ....

(where link is like this: http://www.hikr.org/dir/P_am_Brenner_52437/)

And don't change coordinates, leave them where they are.
