Round the Walensee

A training day. My plan is to run the London Marathon on 02.10.2022 in 3hr35.
08:54 dep. Weesen, walking.
10:44 arr. Quinten. Coffee break.
11:10 dep. Quinten, walking.
12:58 arr. Walenstadt (See). Lunch break, siesta.
14:36 dep. Walensee, jogging.
This part of the tour was really only suitable for bikers, inline skaters and runners who are training for flat marathons. Well, a bit exposed to the sun and a bit noisy, as the bike track followed the main road, the railway line and the Autobahn in places. Walked over the Kerenzerberg headland, instead of carrying on through the bike tunnel. A disappointing 6.4 mins per km, but to be expected on a hot summer's day.
16:52 arr. Weesen. Jumped into the lake to cool off. Fantastic!
Total: about 40km, about 6 hours on the move.
