This hike fromWägitalersee to the summit of Zindlenspitz (2097 m) has been described by many others already, so I will not provide much more detail. On this day the weather was not perfect, but I was eager to start the hiking season, so I decided to go anyway. My choice fell on Chöpfenberg (1896 m), close to Wägitalersee. Grosser Mythen.

Driving up from Sisikon to Chäppeliberg by car was already an exiting start of the day, as the road is only one lane wide. The places where crossing traffic can pass are not that many. A nice hike to Druesberg (2282 m) and Forstberg (2215 m) from Weglosen. I followed the blue/white marked trail from Weglosen in direction of Druesberg. Nice hike from Brunni to Grosser Mythen. Because of the fog, the view from the summit was very limited though. But I got to see an alpine salamander at the top of the mountain! Remark: The attached GPS track is not an actual recording, but I drew the route in Google Earth right after the hike.
