Cerro Ajusco 3937 M

Highest peak in Mexico City. Also highest peak in the province of the Federal District (#8 in the MX State Highest Point List). We walked about  ~8 kilometers and gained ~700 meters. Trail starts quite steep through the woods, then through open mountain slopes. The last part of the trail is quite easy. Very strong wind was blowing all the way. I had not anemometer with me, but i have very similar feeling when opening car window at ~100 km/h.. (maybe that's the edge of hurricane Barbara..) In the morning it was cloudy, but when I climbed up, the clouds vanished and I had excellent views to all directions. It is a great hike.
