How to to reduce photo size (in MB) but not quality

As everybody knows unfortunately we have photo size limit here on hikr.
But there are many programs to reduce the size (in megabytes) of the photo without reducing the size in pixels (width and height) too much and without losing quality.

For example, I found a free program called RIOT (Radical Image Optimization Tool). It can reduce the weight of the photo many times, also your can reduce the dimensions if you want. There is also an important option  to keep EXIF (date taken, camera info and color profile). 

Here an example. The original photo was 6000x3000 and about 10MB. RIOT reduced it to 3000x1500 and 600kb. 

The result, also click on it and check the original size. I think it's pretty good quality
