This was a mixed hike and snowshoe hike. Start in Mathon at 8:30 AM. Lots of spring flowers on the way up to Dros. But above elevation 2100 m it is all snow covered, so that is where I got to use the snowshoes. I generally followed the ski route up to Parpeinahorn, and I did not meet any other hikers above Dros.
