Must be a fifth highest peak in Czech Republic. By prominence must be the second. It is also highest in Moravia. There is TV tower, restaurant and hotel on the top. If that's the target, then it's possible drive to the top. However there are few more paths. Navigation showed me most direct trail. However i found that it's closed....

Few kilometers walk from Praded. Again, somehow i choose the trail which looks like closed for the few years (there is another one if you are fine to walk extra kilometer). Nice walk, however little bit wet. I would not repeat it after the rain. Whole trail and the peak looks like a kind of swamp..

Name predicts that it must be big (Velky stands to Big). However it's not true. Peak is located on the slope of the Praded peak. There is no trail to it. So i made it off trail via forest. Not so much visible around..

Outermost peak in my 29.5 km hike today. Nothing very impressive however yes to all directions superb. Pile of stones marks the peak.

According to the map peak is located directly on the path. However about 80 meters on the side there are rocks and builders wihch are obviuosly much higher that the location on the map. So, just to be sure, i made both.. Nice views..

There are no "official" trails to this peak. However i spotted some small, almost invisible trail few hundred meters before the closest point on the main trail. I took it, and voila, it ended up on the peak. Nice views from the top.

No trial was marked on the map, and i didn't found anything. Maybe i missed. Next thing you do you are selecting shortest path. Thats what i done. ~180 meters i went directly to the peak via grassland/forest. Nice views around.

Nice hike on the well marked trail (~8km). Excellent views to NE direction. Think i could see some peaks 20-30 km away. On the top there are triangulation projectremains..

Short detour on the way back from Velka Destna.. Hill is bordering Jeleni Lazne (Deer Bath) nature reserve.. Better name would be Flies Paradise.. : ) Never seen so many flies in the air..But anyway, nice hike. There is no marked trail to the peak, however i found something, which resembles trail in dense forest..

Topographically nice peak. No true trail leads to it. Last meters i made heading directly to the peak. Because of dense trees, not so much visible on the top.

This was the last point on the 12 km hike. Not so much visible around. Remains of some chaple can be found nearby.

Nice walk on the well marked path. Met a lot of people. There is St. Jiri (St. George) rotunda on the top. Cafe and restaurant nearby. Not so much visible around. Říp Mountain a a solitary hill rising up from the central Bohemian flatland. No other single 'peak' in radius of few kilometers.. So, even not being very high it looks...

Nice walk on the wide, well marked forest trail. A lot of people. On there top there is small cafe restaurant, observation terrace and some monument. Excellentviews to all directions.

Made small detour on the way back from Lovos. Nice rocky top. Visibility only one direction.
