||||||||||||||
Donji Orahovac is situated on the Risan-Kotor road. The ascent starts by a road towards Sveti Nikola church. Then continue up the road and join the coastal path. A possible 10 minutes off-side sojourn leads to former police guardjard Ježević. The coastal path leads further to villages Klajevići, Stepen, and a group of villages belonging to Gornji Orahovac.
Svetija Andrija is one of fortresses included in a fortification complex along the coast. It dates back to the times of Austro-Hungarian monarchy of 1807-1918.
200 meters past the fortress, a road goes down to Perast, while the coastal path continues rightwards to Šanik.
This hike is described in a book "Primorska Planinarska Transverzala: Orjen - Lovćen - Rumlja".
