From Tirana to Petrelë

Petrela is best known as an afternoon drive for a lunch or coffee. Here,we walk from the artificial lake in Tirana through the park and over the hills to the restaurant at Petrela castle. The hike is easy but long.

The trail ends at the restaurant in Petrela castle, which offers refreshments and meals. Take the bus back to Tirana. 

Shortly after leaving Tirana, the hike passes through some fields and gardens. Ask permission from the owners to cross, or walk around them. The trail passess some radio towers on the hills, which is a good stop for a snack.
