Mt. Sorak(Sorak national park) 설악산

Mt. sorak, the third highest area in South Korea following Mt. halla on Cheju Island and Mt. Chiri in cholla province. Designated as a national park in 1970, Mt. Sorak is widely known as a second Kumgang san mountain. Mt. sorak in northeastern South korea is also worth visit. The explosion of autumn colors juxtaposed with evergreens, cliffs, crags, ridges and valley streams provides a new view of beauty every time you turn your head. the tree in sorak Mountain turn color at the altitude of 17,800m and spreads down towards the southern area. Some 1,708 meter(5,604 feet) above sea level, Mt. Sorak beckons many climbers to its peaks to enjoy the mountain's many unusual rock formations, mirroring lakes and frothy waterfalls.
