Yosemite

We hiked 3.5 miles to the camp spot at Dewey Point. The trail was well marked and easy to follow, great for both snow shoeing and cross country skiing. When we reached the campsite area the view was amazing, Yosemite's cliffs are pretty breath taking. We actually ran into a large group of Sierra Club members that were very nice...

Hi ^ ^ I love nature, so i try to be in it as much as possible. I am more of a woods person than a mountain person, in fact I live among the redwoods in California =) I am very inexperienced at snow hiking and have no idea what any of the abbreviations for difficulty mean. I took a class on it, but we only took two trips and I don't think I got enough practice in. I am also a big fan of camping no matter what the weather is like. I really enjoy looking at the pictures on this site. I started taking some German classes so hopefully I will soon understand what some of the descriptions and comments are saying and I can't wait to talk to some of you =)
