▶ ⨯ ◀ A timelapse movie about the western Alps, shot in the probably nicest season for hiking...autumn. Enjoy in HD :-)



Shots were taken during a 10-day vacation and one other weekend at these locations:

Binntal (Switzerland), Gantertal (Switzerland), Turtmanntal (Switzerland), Chemin de l'Energie (France), Lac de Rabuons (France), Gorges du Verdon (France), Rifugio Migliorero (Italy), Alpe Devero (Italy), Alpe Veglia (Italy).



The biggest challenge was to fit shooting the sequences in between hiking, since we walked usually long distances. Since it is my first timelapse I had to figure out quite a lot during the actual shooting..sometimes had a good amount of luck beeing at the right spot at the right time ;-)



Equipment:

- Canon EOS 50D

- Canon EFS 15-85mm

- Joby Gorillapod

- Apurture timer remote



Editing and cutting:

- Deshaked using Virtual DUB / Deshaker by Gunnar Thalin

- Deflickered using Virtual DUB / MSU Deflicker

- Edited in iMovie
