▶ ⨯ ◀ Osh street life. Osh (or Os’h) is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan and is with its 3000 years the oldest city in the country. Osh was known as early as the 8th century as a center for silk production along the Silk Road. Osh is most famous for its grand bazaar. It has been on the same spot for the past 2000 years. Its population consists of Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, Russians and Tajiks. Osh is situated only 5 km from the Uzbekistan border.
