In verità non c'è scritto "figli di cane", ma "figli di Caìno", das heisst "Söhne Kains", perchè Caino uccise Abele, suo fratello. Entrambe sono espressioni forti, ma la prima è ben difficile che venga scritta su di una lapide "ufficiale"...
