▶ ⨯ ◀ "Very difficult" and "Not maintained" is very relative...
I would rate this trail a T2 and in my opinion it was extremely well maintained (all the bushes nicely cut back, some cairns). The only difficulty is that sometimes the trail is not 100% obvious.
