▶ ⨯ ◀ Not part of this hike, but something which was a nice 'side-effect' of our visitors:
They came and visited us with a (rented) plane and as a 'thank you' for hosting them and taking them on a hike, we got to fly to and around Half Dome - impressive not just from this angle
