Seems you have not walked to the Bocchetta but further to the right, i.e. east to the ridge?

I don't remember exactly the path, I should have come out on the crest at the bocchetta di Catonzo.
I certainly walked back east to admire the view towards the lake.
It is possible to walk along the entire ridge from the Bocchetta di Sant'Anna to the Motto di Paraone and go down to rifugio Giovo.

I think "Pigosc" is the peak portrayed on this photo.
At the top there was a cross that cannot be distinguished at low resolution.
