Salita sci alpinistica effettuata il 13/03/2015<br />Dislivello: 1770m<br />Lunghezza: 17,5km<br />Difficoltà: BSA (sci), D<br />Esposizione. N<br /><br />Partenza con gli sci dal lago superiore di Fusine (941m) prima dell'alba seguendo la strada forestale per l'Alpe del Lago (sentiero n. 514-515) e diretti verso la valle della Lavina. <br />Dopo circa 1,5km si devia a destra sul greto del torrente che, prima ampio, si restringe gradualmente e poi si addentra nella boscaglia. All'inizio si procede quasi in piano e la pendenza aumenta gradualmente.<br />Fuori da bosco,rischiarato dall'alba, appare ben evidente il percorso che conduce alla Forcella della Lavina. Le pendenze aumentano fino a superare i 30° nel finale. Il fondo di neve dura costringe ad procedere con i ramponi nell'ultimo tratto tra le rocce che porta in forcella (2055 m).<br />Qui il Mangart appare in tutta la sua grandezza e nasconde il sole del primo mattino. Si procede verso la ferrata e l'itinerario diventa alpinistico. Sci posizionati sullo zaino e fuori le piccozze.<br />Il traverso appare in buone condizioni e la neve offre un buon sostegno. Consigliata una corda per sicurezza.<br />Sulla cresta finale si trovano anche tratti con neve molto dura e compatta che obbligano a procedere con attenzione. Il Tricorno (Triglav) e lo Jalovec accompagnano la parte finale della salita.<br />In cima la neve abbonda e la croce di vetta è per metà sommersa.<br />Gran vista sulle altre alpi Giulie - Canin, Jof Fuart, Jof di Montasio... -, dolomiti - il solito Antelao, le Tofane, .. -, il Coglians, i Tauri, ecc...<br />Rientro per lo stesso itineraio di salita.<br /><br />------------------------------------<br /><br />Mangart (Julian Alps) - Winter ascent from Fusine Lakes<br /><br />Date: 13.03.2015<br />Vertical drop: 1770m<br />Length: 17,5km<br />Difficulty: BSA (skiing), D<br />Exposure: N<br /><br />Departure on skis from the upper lake of Merger (941m) before dawn along the forest road to Alpe del Lago (path n. 514-515) and heading towards the valley of Lavina.<br />After about 1.5 km turn right on the river bed that, before large, gradually narrows and then goes into the bush. At the beginning the path is almost flat and the slope increases gradually.<br />Outside the forest, lit from dawn, appears very obvious route that leads to the Forcella of Lavina. The slopes rise to over 30 ° in the final. The hard snow forces to proceed with crampons last stretch between the rocks leading into the fork (2055 m).<br />Here the Mangart appears in all its grandeur and hides the early morning sun. From this point the route becomes mountaineering. We place the skis on the backpack and use ice axes.<br />The traverse is in good condition and the snow provides a good support. Recommended a rope for safety.<br />On the final ridge are also traits with snow very hard and compact requiring to proceed with care. The Triglav (Triglav) and Jalovec accompany the final part of the climb.<br />On top of the snow abounds and the summit cross is half submerged.<br />Great views of the other Julian Alps - Canin, Jof Fuart, Jof Montasio ... -, Dolomites - the usual Antelao, Tofane, .. -, Coglians, the Tauern, etc ...<br />Return for the same itinerary.
