Day 2 of our short holidays in the Goms

After having been hiking on the sunny side of the valley yesterday, today we chose a mountain on the north face of the Goms... Aim of the day was the summit of the Brudelhorn.

We started our tour at the train station Geschinen, passed the bridge and followed the path up to Unnerwalij. Here we crossed again a bridge reaching p.1428. We continued on the right and went up to Unner Flesche passing p.1676. At the two following intersections we always chose the path going direction south or south-west. From p.2112 we went up straight to Follebode and continued then direction south-east passing close to p.2238 and p.2333. The path continues almost straight direction south, first reaching two nice small nameless lakes and later the edge of the Distelgrat. Following the edge we reached the summit.
For the descent we chose exactly the same way.

The overall difficulty of the path is T3. The only technically demanding part is the ascent from the smll lake to the Distelgrat.

While yesterday we met several people hiking in the region of the Grimselpass, today we were almost alone! For sure an advantage.
