Cima Capezzone (2421m)

We started from Campello Monti at 11.30. It was cloudy but weather seemed stable. We reached Rifugio Abele Traglio and Loago Capezzone at 2 pm. There were some parts with snow, but no difficulties with following the trail.

At 2.30 we decided to go up to Cima Capezzone. There was small fog and weather was not very stable. At the very beginning following the trail was difficult because of snow cover. On the upper parts snow cover was deep. We reached the pass between Cima Capezzone and Cima Lago going straight up on the snowy and steep slope. We did not see the trail but we saw some footprints. From the pass we went up to the Cima Capezzone peak without difficulties. We were on the top at 4 pm. We returned with the same way. We were back in Campello Monti at 7.30 pm.
