On the way back home after a long weekend in Samedan, I stopped at the Albula pass, and hiked to the top of the mountain called Igl Compass. There is a white-red-white marked trail from the Albula pass all the way to the summit. In the upper part there was a little bit of snow here and there, but it didn't cause any problems.
I was wearing my waterproof running shoes, instead of the heavier hiking boots. The trail is really quite easy (T2). Surprisingly, I only met two other hikers on the entire tour! Great weather with blue skies, but it was quite windy at Fuorcla Zavretta and at the summit of Igl Compass.
Lunch at Albula Hospiz after the hike.
