Hasselbach Tal, Engelsley und Ehrensteinsley

The hike starts in Kalterherberg, explores the Hasselbach Valley to where the Hassel Stream joins the Rur, then climbs to the Engelsley and Teufelsley (Angel's Rock and Devil's Rock). From there, the hike descends into Monschau. This is about half way into the hike. Explore Monschau and have some refreshments. Two more ascents wait to be done. The first is up to the Ehrensteinsley, followed by a steep descent into the Rur valley. Follow the Rur stream, past the Cloister Reichenstein. It is no longer possible to visit the monastery. Continue to the Norbertus Chapel and prepare yourself for the last ascent back to Kalterherberg. 

The hike starts at the Luisenhof Guesthouse in Kalterherberg. From the guesthouse, cross the main road and continue on a forest road to the western side of Kalterherberg. Turn right at the first opportunity. At waypoint Rompol, cross over to the east side of the village and continue as per the coordinates.
