▶⨯◀A trout in that size is a top-predator and feeds on smaller fish (often it's own species!) up to about 20cm (6'). I let that one swim again, since its way too much to eat for a single trekker...
For me this seems to be a Salmo trutta fario, isn't it? I am wondering, because I thought, that only Oncorhynchus mykiss would be native in Northern America. Do you know if it only was inserted or isn't it Salmo trutta fario?
