Hello everyone. In August I would like to go to the Hochalmspitze. I am planning it as below. Did someone hike exactly like I want to? I would really appreciate your experiences, description, potential danger, equipment, time schedule etc.
1) 1st day: arrive to Mallnitz and go to the Arthur von Schmid Haus and sleep there
2) 2nd day - here I would need the most information about difficulity and time schedule, it seems to be very hard.
From Arthur von Schmid Haus - to the Sauleck - to Hochalmspitze (through Lassacher winkelscharte and detmolder grat) - then descent to the Giessener Hutte.
3) 3rd day back from the Giessener Hutte to the Mallnitz through Dosener Blockgletscher.
