Route:Helon Taylor, Cathedral
Access to start point:Travel north on Interstate 95 to Medway Exit and then 10 miles west to Millinocket. Take Baxter State Park Road 15 miles to Togue Pond Gatehouse for Baxter State Park. Travel 8 miles northeast to Roaring Brook All Baxter State Park roads are gravel and 15 mph. No guns are permitted since this is a large wildlife preserve.
Accommodation:Leantos and tenting sites at Katahdin Stream and Roaring Brook and Chimney Pond

This hike may be accomplished in a day and involves 5.2 miles of ascent and the same to return.  There are leantos and tenting sites but these must be reserved ahead of time.
