Day 3
“Great wildlife and hot springs at the end”
Monte di Comino – Madonna della Segna - Pianascio – Pizzo Ruscada – P. 1737 – P. 1705 - Alpe Lombardone – Costa del Guald – Pianone – P. 1066.4 – P. 856 – Comologno – Spruga – Bagni di Craveggia – Spruga
Remarks: At Alpe Lombardone I didn’t pay attention to the path and instead of following the described route, I took a route (orange spray paint markings) to Costa del Guald (1133). There I realized my mistake... From there I crossed over to P. 1064 (pathless, T4-T5, more rocks than the 25K map actually implies, not recommended!).
Otherwise the tour is classified as T3+
A visit of the “Bagni di Craveggia” at the CH/I border is worth while and interesting!
