Schweiz "high res" 3D Bild

Hallo zäme,

Eine gute Nachricht: Die ganze Schweiz ist jetzt "high res" auf
GoogleEarth und GoogleMap. Die Möglichkeit, all die kleinen Details wie
Wege und Gebäude zu erkennen ist beeindruckend!

Dank des schlechten Wetters haben wir das GoogleEarth KML File erneuert.
Du kannst es hier downloaden: www.hikr.org/hikr.kml

Wenn das File einmal integriert ist, aktualisiert es sich bei jedem
Neustart von GoogleEarth neu.

Im Moment stellen wir einfach eine Übersicht für jeden Punkt in unserer
Datenbank mit Photos und Links zu Berichten zur Verfügung. Wir möchten
jedoch noch einiges mehr ermöglichen weil sich durch die hohe Auflösung
ganz neue Möglichkeiten auftun wie z.B. Visualisierung von Routen auf
der Karte.

Versuch es jetzt: Es ist umwerfend ;)
Dann kannst auch du mitdiskutieren, wie wir dieses "Geschenk" benutzen
willen.

Good news: ALL Switzerland is now in high resolution in Google Earth and Google Map. It's impresive!!!! It's possible to see all small details, like paths and buildings.

Today, thanks to bad weather, we remade the GoogleEarth KML File: you can download it here www.hikr.org/hikr.kml.

Once this new file is uploaded, it will automatically update each time you open GoogleEarth.

For the moment, we just provided an overview for each point in our database with photos and links to reports, like in the directory. But we really want to do something more because with the high resolution it's now meaningful and possible  to draw and visualize trails and routes on the map!!!

Try it now: it's AMAZING!!!

Then we can discuss how to use this "gift" on hikr.org.
