I was wondering if this small glacial passage can be done without rope in the opposite direction? How long is it in metres? is it very steep? I would like to summit the wildstrubel, and traverse the ridge (wildstrubel - schneehore - schneejoch - rothornlücke) to the klettersteig and to the lämmerenhutte.. I will have crampons and an ice axe on me. Thanks!

Hello, it should be possible without rope. It is not very steep and we haven't seen any crevasses. The distance on the glacier is about 800m. Have a good trip, Dänu.
