how many pictures did you take for this panorama? as for myself, i wouldnt even dare to try such a huge angle because i find it quite hard to get a straight horizon line when sticking the pics together.

This panorama was stitched from 17 single images (orientation landscape, focal length 70mm).
In order to keep the horizon straight it helps to use a tripod, but in this case I didn't even have it with me... I guess I was lucky and well balanced that day :-)
